ETHOS

Growing up in Hawaii, I have always had a strong bond with the ocean and the earth, which has fuelled my desire to ensure that La Belle Liberté is working to keep our water clean and our beaches pristine. I have made sure to research the most sustainable fabrics and eco-friendly packaging options available before launching this collection.  I wanted to be responsible for the items I’m bringing into this world and make sure they are sustainably and responsibly made so as not to damage the planet any further.

Although most fashion is far from ideal, we are slowly getting there as a community. We can all help to make the world that bit better by making responsible choices and buying fewer items of higher quality. Ensuring they last longer and you can treasure them forever.

At La Belle Liberté we are committed to continually improving our sources to remain as eco-friendly as possible. Therefore, we chose to work with long-lasting natural, sustainable fibres such as linen, silk, alpaca, cotton, organic cotton, cupro, and TENCEL™, to help keep microplastics out of our waterways. Our customer packaging has been designed for minimal post-consumer waste and is either made of recycled materials or is reusable, fully recyclable, or compostable.
